Maui’s Angels Weddings was so happy to be chosen as Phoebe & Nick’s Maui wedding planner for their wedding at the Olowalu Plantation House! Being able to plan weddings for couples from all over the world is such an amazing experience and something that we absolutely love to do! With this lovely couple living in Australia, we depended on email for most of the planning process, but were lucky enough to meet them in person when they traveled to Maui to meet with their prospective vendors. We love when our couples are able to make the trip out to Maui, we were able to show them the Olowalu Plantation House and setup meetings with vendors as well as cake, catering and cocktail tastings! When the wedding day arrived they knew exactly what to expect and it helped put their minds at ease while planning from so far away. Their wedding was so much fun and we so enjoyed working with this wonderful couple!! Thank you so much Phoebe and Nick, we wish you a lifetime of love and Aloha from all of us at Maui’s Angels Weddings!!
Their vision of an elegant, white wedding in paradise all came together with the help of the incredible Maui wedding vendors listed below. We hope you enjoy scrolling through these images by Amity Mason Photography as much as we do! The bride’s amazing braided side do and flawless makeup was provided by the talented ladies of Salon 253, she looked absolutely stunning!!!
The bride and groom chose not to see each other before their ceremony, instead they did a semi-first look which included just saying hello and holding hands behind a door without actually laying eyes on each other until the bride walked down the aisle. It was a really sweet moment and help to put any jitters at ease.
Their ceremony was set under the big beautiful trees at the Olowalu Plantation House in order to provide shade for their guests. Rentals including their 2-post bamboo wedding arch and white chiavari chairs were provided by Hawaiian Style Event Rentals.
With so many gorgeous backdrops for photography around the Olowalu Plantation House, the couple took advantage of some alone time with their photographer for romantic photos after the ceremony.
Their fabulous cocktails and modern white bar were provided by Garnish Craft Cocktail Catering. Service included signature cocktails as seen below along with house crafted tinctures, handmade syrups, fresh squeezed juices and homemade sodas!
Dinner service took place under a beautiful canopy of twinkle lights provided by Hawaiian Style Event Rentals!
The couple chose a croquembouche instead of a traditional wedding cake. A croquembouche is a French dessert consisting of pastry balls piled into a cone and bound with threads of caramel. This one was created flawlessly by Maui Wedding Cakes!
After dinner the couple wowed the crowd with their choreographed first dance!! Their dance area was complimented with hanging chandeliers and orchid leis which added a fun and romantic ambiance! Dancing continued throughout the night with everyone out on the dance floor having a great time courtesy of music by Maui DJ Services!!
Thank you again to Phoebe and Nick, it was an absolute pleasure being chosen as your Maui wedding planner!!!
