Today Maui’s Angels Weddings is excited to share the romantic Maui wedding of Melissa & Corey at the Mauka Lani Estate! This beautiful ocean view private estate is located in the exclusive Launiopoko neighborhood on the west side of Maui, just minutes from historic Lahaina town and the hotels and resorts of Ka’anapali. It offers amazing, unobstructed panoramic ocean views, use of the property from 10AM – 10PM and can host up to 125 guests! Melissa & Corey’s vision was an elegant, old Hawaiian themed wedding in tropical colors with bamboo accents. The ceremony arch was decorated with Hawaiian palm fronds and fresh leis were waiting for each guest, white orchid for the women and kukui nut for the men, which were worn throughout the night. It was a a completely magical event and we were so happy to be chosen as their Maui wedding planner! We hope you enjoy scrolling through these beautiful images by Torrey Fox Photography and Will Mackie Productions! Melissa put her final touches on in the air conditioned bridal suite at the Mauka Lani Estate surrounded by her mom and closest friends. Her gorgeous flower crown and cascading wedding bouquet were made of beautiful Hawaiian orchids by Sunya’s Flowers.
A curtain of white orchids hung between the house and the ceremony location which made for a dramatic grand entrance as the bride made her way down the aisle!
A traditional Hawaiian lei exchange was performed during their ceremony by Ernest Pua’a, a triple crown lay flat lei for the bride and a Maile lei entwined with white orchids for the groom.
The bride & groom enjoyed the many backdrops around the gorgeous property for romantic photos as husband and wife.
Their dining tables were set with tropical arrangements in varying heights, gold mercury glass candles and spray painted gold pineapples surrounded each place setting. Their sage green table linen matched the color of the bridesmaids dresses perfectly!
After dinner, the happy couple enjoyed a private Polynesian luau performance by Manutea Nui E, ending with a dramatic fire knife dance!
Their square wedding cake by Cake Fanatics was decorated with vintage Hawaiian post cards and framed in edible “bamboo” which tied in perfectly with their old Hawaii theme.
The night ended with romantic dancing under the stars on Hawaiian Style Event Rentals‘ vintage wood plank dance floor, clear bulb cafe lighting and twinkle light strung palm trees.
Congratulations to the happy couple, it was truly an honor and a pleasure to be your Maui wedding planner!! We wish you all of the happiness in the world and many nights as amazing as this one!!
