We are excited to feature the amazing Maui wedding of Anita & Chris on our blog today! Maui’s Angels Weddings coordinated this lavish affair at the beautiful ocean front Makena Point at the Makena Beach and Golf Resort on Maui’s south shore.

The wedding design that you’ll see in the lovely photos below was 100% customized; from the floral arch to the centerpieces, the guest book table to the extravagant florals that you will see throughout their wedding ceremony and reception decor.

We lovingly refer to this 2-post wedding arch as The Window to the Sea. The bride wanted to pull in the element of the ocean into her ceremony decor, hence the name that we came up with together! Maui Elegance Floral brought her vision to life with the gorgeous creation that you see below!

The lovely bride was escorted in to Makena Point by her father as she carried a gorgeous tropical bouquet and her father adorned with an amazing boutonniere to match.

We love that first moment when the groom sees his bride for the first time on their wedding day, don’t you? Love the groom’s expression in this shot captured by Meew Meew Studios!

The floral pathway that you see below is called our Customized Rose Petal Path which is a much more of an abundant and lavish amount of rose petals than the standard fresh flower petal path that we offer in on our Packages page. This is an easy upgrade that can be added to any of our packages!

Another customized element included into their ceremony setup are the Sheperd Hooks holding small lanterns containing orchids and roses to match the rest of the floral decor.

After their gorgeous ceremony and romantic beach photos, the happy couple proceeded to their reception at the Maluaka Lawn on the property of the Makena Beach and Golf Resort.

For their reception, the bride wanted each table to be categorized by it’s own country so we incorporated 27 sail boats provided by the couple into the centerpieces. The guests were then directed where to sit by referencing the flag that flew above each sailboat.

You’ll also see in the image below that we created a ‘Great Catch’ wall made of fishing net where we hung photos of the couple that had been taken throughout their years of courtship. Their guest book was a ‘Treasure Chest’ where guests could write their well wishes on a scroll.

The rest of the night was spent dining and dancing with their family and friends at the Maluaka Lawn. We created a customized 12×12 dance floor that you’ll see in the images below with custom linen, florals and twinkling lights, it was a fantastic end to a perfect day!
