I would highly recommend Maui’s Angels to anyone looking for a wedding planner and coordinator on Maui! Lorrie and her team at Maui’s Angels love what they do and it shows in the quality of their work. My now-husband and I wanted to have a destination wedding in gorgeous Maui but didn’t know where to start. Many hotels and venues offer wedding packages but we wanted to hand pick all of our vendors to make sure we got the best vendors on the island. Lorrie has an amazing network of top quality vendors and her recommendations were so helpful! Instead of phone interviewing dozens of vendors and narrowing them down, Lorrie provided her top vendors that she’s worked with in the past and I simply just picked my favorite. It was so easy and I knew those vendors would all come through (and they absolutely did!). Lorrie and her team are really passionate about what they do and it clearly shows! Everything was flawlessly executed! She also distributed payments to all of our vendors and held onto my clutch, vows and a few items during our ceremony. It was really nice not having to worry about those little things on our wedding day. Lorrie and her team at Maui’s Angels exceeded all expectations and helped us to have the wedding of our dreams in gorgeous Maui! Lorrie and her team of vendors and staff did a fabulous job! Lorrie and Nicole took the extra time to listen to our requests/concerns and executed the ultimate wedding that we wanted. My husband and I had a vision of having an elegant, unique, and oceanfront wedding. If you are detail-oriented, Maui’s Angels is the right company for you. I researched endless wedding planners in Maui and reached out to several of them, but there is nothing like the confidence and reassurance that Lorrie and Nicole showed me. Six months before our wedding, my husband and I actually flew out to Maui to do a site check and choose our vendors. Although this was uncommon for destination weddings, Lorrie and Nicole made it happen and had two days lined up for us meet and hire my vendors. Even on the day of the wedding, Lorrie was hard at work. We had unexpected rain showers before the ceremony, but I watched Lorrie switch to Plan B and execute last-minute changes (i.e.: tent set-up, linens, additional tent for the bar and sushi area, light set-up). My guests even commented how efficient Lorrie was. My husband said: “I was watching from the side and whatever Lorrie said, everyone did, no questions asked!” This is what you want on your wedding day. Lorrie and the rest of her team at Maui’s Angels exceeded our expectations 100 times over! Lorrie was ALWAYS available throughout the year leading up to the wedding for advice, vendor recommendations, and just generally to calm me down during the planning process. I really trusted Lorrie’s decisions given that she’s put on many beautiful weddings on the island of Maui. It was great that her husband has a rental company (Hawaiian Style Event Rentals) that we could pick & choose from, and we were able to create my dream wedding look with the pieces they had in their inventory. When it came to the week of the wedding, Lorrie could not have been more amazing. I met her right-hand design woman, Jes, who was incredibly helpful in pulling together the florals with Sunya’s Flowers, and the design for the ceremony and reception. I basically told her everything I wanted, and she made it come to life PERFECTLY and at a reasonable cost! On the wedding day, Lorrie & her team made sure the event went off flawlessly, and at that point I (finally) didn’t have to think about the details, but was able to just enjoy the wedding day with my now hubby and our amazing family & friends. Many people (vendors, my bridesmaids, & guests) complimented on how awesome Lorrie was, which is a testament to her calm, friendly personality and awesome wedding coordinating skills! A few people told us it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to, which most certainly would not have been the case without Lorrie & the rest of the Maui’s Angel’s team. I am so glad I met Lorrie and now would call her a friend that I hope to see whenever I’m back in Maui. 🙂 I can’t begin to thank her enough for the beautiful day she helped put together – it was everything we envisioned & MORE. Choosing to work with Lorrie and her team was the best decision we could have made for our wedding. Everything turned out better than we could have imagined, thanks to their spot on recommendations, enthusiasm for getting it “just right”, and timely replies (that made all the difference in selecting them in the first place!). The liaison I worked with for most logistics (Nicole), offered lots of great options for catering, venues, hair, photographer, always within budget, and our taste preferences. This made it an ease to make decisions from afar (we live in Vancouver, CAN). I trusted her recommendations, and no detail let us down. Our venue was unique, intimate, and above all perfect. We would never have found it without their expertise. On the rehearsal and wedding day Lorrie joined us on site, and was the perfect blend of professionalism and familiarity. This review is to truly provide a potential customer the experience that I had with Maui’s Angels. Being from the Pacific northwest and never gone to Maui I was defiantly hesitant to just jump right in and start planning a trip there let alone a wedding. Where to begin and what to do, my worries were put to rest when I called Maui’s Angels Destination Weddings & Events. Lorrie and her team were not just fantastic to work with they were calming and had everything planned out and under control. I started planning my wedding about 5-6 months prior to the date and they were able to accommodate all my needs. Providing several selections on venues, food vendors and there in house designer Jess who was amazing and added essential touches that made my wedding special and gorgeous. A lot of my planning was by conference calls and exchange of emails due to the distance. Each time Maui’s Angels were prompt in their responses and were willing to accommodate any wedding big or small and still keeping my ideas and most important details incorporated throughout. I would recommend them to family, friends and anyone looking to plan a destination wedding on the island of Maui. I didn’t just leave Maui with my husband and a new outlook on life but I left the island with friends because those who work at Maui’s Angels become your friends they are there from the start of it all planning, rehearsal, wedding day and after the wedding. This group of ladies truly cares about you and your needs providing the highest level of customer service that I have ever experienced. I even shipped my dress to Maui’s Angels they coordinated getting my dress steamed and ready for the day of the event putting my anxiety aside by letting me know when they received my dress. I felt Maui’s Angels always kept me informed and allowed my groom and me make decisions that were most important to us. I cannot thank them enough for making my dream wedding a reality. A day doesn’t go by that I don’t think of my wedding and the experience that they created for my family, guests, husband and me. Let me begin by thanking both Nicole and Lorrie of Maui Angels for going above and beyond for us. Our day was beyond perfect and I will cherish it always! My initial contact with Maui Angels was very professional. Everything was clear and simple to understand, really made planning a destination wedding stress free. After a couple emails back and forth I knew this was the company I wanted to plan my wedding. I was matched with Nicole, who supplied me with plenty of vendor options and choices. I took my time researching each one to make sure they were a good fit for my special day. I knew, as a bride and as an industry professional details would be very important to me. I had a specific vision and feel I wanted for our wedding. We were doing a very small intimate group of friends and family for our special day; however we wanted each guest to feel like they were special. We wanted music, cocktail hour and a formal sit down dinner. Our feel was to be romantic and soft with lots of flowers and details. Nicole was so amazing in helping me get everything thing I had envisioned down to the throw pillows on the lounge set up we had for cocktail hour, every detail and want was met. We used two florists to help our vision come to life. Everything was perfect.Our photographer captured us in the most natural way possible. I really loved that about her, not a lot of special effects or weird photoshop. Our cinematographer blew me away with our highlight video. Our venue nailed the food and cocktail hour to a ” T “. The music was perfect; I could go on and on. We plan on coming back to Maui Angels for our five year anniversary to do a vow renewal. Thank you Nicole.

I don’t even know where to start! It’s every couples dream to have an amazing wedding so finding a person to help with that was very important. I wanted to find somebody that could help take away the stress from our big day and so our friends and family could relax and not have to worry about the small details. I researched online, in magazines, asked around and finally our caterer suggested Maui’s Angels. They said amazing things so I decided to give them a call. I had called about three other places but when I called Maui’s Angles I just felt like they were the right choice. I could not have found a more amazing person to help with our wedding. Lori was so helpful and always had time for me(even with the 5 hour time difference) She was great at communicating with me over email and phone and was so amazing to work with, brainstorm with, and just plan with! I truly felt like I was planning a wedding with my friend that just so happened to have a ton of experience. I cannot describe how amazing it feels to have found Lori. She also was really great helping us stick to our budget and didn’t rip us off (like a lot of wedding vendors tend to do) I really feel like we got above and beyond what we paid for. When we arrived on Maui she met with us for a final consultation and we hashed out all of the details. Of course it rained on our wedding day (even though we got married in one of the driest spots on Maui) and Lori was so professional in dealing with everything. I can honestly say with all of the mayhem going on I didn’t feel stressed out one bit and everything turned out more beautiful than I could have imagined. We had to totally change the set up and she didn’t miss a beat. From the beautiful flowers to the placement of the vendors I must say that she delivered! I could not have asked for a more beautiful wedding and a more beautiful person to work with. I will always have a special place in my heart for Lori because of what she did for me. She made the happiest day of my life possible and I couldn’t be more grateful. Anybody would be blessed to have Maui’s Angels as a part of their wedding. They really are the best and I hope that every couple can experience a day like ours!!! Not only did I have the most amazing wedding planner I feel like I gained an amazing friend!!! I promise if you choose Maui’s Angles you will not be disappointed.

We would like to thank Maui’s Angels for making our day so special! Being from Vancouver and planning a wedding in Hawaii can be stressful, especially since we hadn’t been to Maui before. But Lorrie was there every step of the way and was always available to answer any of our questions and concerns. The wedding day was absolutely beautiful! I cannot give enough gratitude to Lorrie and her team at Maui’s Angels. I decided to hire Maui’s Angels because Lorrie was the first wedding planner that listened to what I wanted and responded with helpful suggestions in a timely manner. (Background: I talked to a few planners before deciding to go with Lorrie – I’m so glad I made this decision!) Lorrie made sure that every detail was taken care of (during the planning process AND on the day of my wedding). Her on-site coordination (with the help of Sarah, who is also wonderful) made me, my husband, and guests feel welcome and relaxed during our whole event.
