Located directly on the oceanfront, The Olowalu Plantation Estate is a dream setting for a destination wedding in Maui. Picture the sound of the waves crashing and a cool ocean breeze as you say ‘I do’ to the love of your life. Continue the evening with tropical cocktails and cuisine as you dance under the stars with your closest friends and family.
This restored plantation house takes you back to old Hawaii with its beautifully appointed décor and tropical surroundings. The panoramic ocean views, palms and pines make for breathtaking pictures, not to mention the jetty which is perfect for sneaking away for sunset photos! Located just south of Lahaina, the house sits back from an expansive and totally private beachfront lawn that can accommodate up to 200 guests. In addition to the stunning aesthetics, Olowalu Plantation House has all the practical features needed for an event of any size to include a separate structure for guest bathrooms, a large kitchen for catering needs, plenty of parking as well as has separate suites inside the house for both bride and groom to get ready. What’s not to love?
Depending on the size of your wedding, there are so many ceremony location possibilities that will transform the venue to be uniquely your own. From a shaded ceremony under the pine trees to an ocean front ‘I do’ under the banyan tree, the possibilities are endless. Hello there! I am wondering what it would be like to plan a wedding at the Olowalu Plantation House. My fiance and I are planning to get married in October of this year on Maui and are looking to connect with event planners who could be a good fit with us. We really like the look and feel of the venue from afar. Our guest count is about 40, and we would be looking for either ceremony and cocktails, or ceremony and dinner, depending on what kind of dinner options we find. I like the idea of having everything in one place, but am also looking into restaurants that can accommodate us post ceremony. Can you offer some pricing and details for us to consider?
Thanks so much!
